Colorado
Yesterday me, Ryan, and Paul packed up the forester to head out west. Here’s a recap of what’s happened so far:
- Loaded up the car with 2 boards, 2 skis, 2 skateboards, 2 bags of cookies and 3 totally gnarly bro’s
- Drove 18 hours straight through to Boulder
- Realized Nebraska and Iowa are terrible terrible places
- Got stoked with word of snow
- Got double stoked with word of closed passes
- Got unstoked when we found out the passes were closed from wind
- Got restoked when we realized that it’s still better than Minnesota
- Got to Colorado in the middle of the night/morning
- Saw a wildfire
- Drove around looking for a place to sleep
- Slept in a park when we decided 5 hours in a hotel was a rip off
- Slept for a few hours on the grass
- Got woke up by a guy going for a walk
- Ate breakfast
